On Tuesday, September 26, the Monaco Yacht Show hosted four hundred privileged guests from across the superyachting industry to distinguish three striking luxury vessels at the 2017 MYS Superyacht Award Ceremony.

HOME, 49,8m, 2017 – winner of the 2017 MYS/RINA Award The new superyacht delivered by the Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts received the award of the most environmentally-friendly luxury vessel displayed at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show. Arthur Brouwer, CEO of Heesen Yachts, and Perry Van Oossanen, naval architect of Home, received the trophy from Ugo Salerno, President and CEO of the italian company RINA. The evening ceremony also highlighted a decade of recognized expertise in superyacht classification of RINA, who celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The Monaco Yacht Show/RINA Award honors the superyacht displayed at the MYS whose construction complied with the environmental standards established by the Italian classification company. SEVEN SINS, 52m, 2017 – winner of the 2017 MYS Interior Design Award The Interior Design Award rewarded the finest and most state-of-the-art interior designs of the winning superyacht. Designed by Officina Italiana Design Sanlorenzo, Seven Sins combines refined elegance with the latest technical innovation in only 500 tons. Sanlorenzo’s new flagship makes its world debut at the 2017 MYS, highlighting the Italian yard’s experience in luxury yacht builds. JUBILEE, 110m, 2017 Winner of the 2017 MYS Exterior Design Award Winner of the 2017 MYS Finest new superyacht Award Climax of last night’s Monaco Yacht Show Superyacht Award Ceremony, the jaw-dropping 110-m luxury vessel Jubilee received two awards. Two awards that distinguished the refined work made by the shipyard Oceanco on the aesthetics of her exterior shapes and interior design, on her high technical and state-of-the-art performances. Captain Roy Dance, on behalf of the Owner, Paris Baloumis, Group Marketing Manager at Oceanco, Rupert Nelson, Director at Burgess and the Owner’s Representative, Igor Lobanov (Exterior Designer) and Sam Sorgiovanni (Interior Designer) received the trophies. |
