Mme Carole Lanteri, Ambassadeur, Repr\u00e9sentant permanent de la Principaut\u00e9 de\u00a0Monaco aupr\u00e8s des Nations Unies \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, a sign\u00e9 le 22 septembre 2016, un\u00a0memorandum d\u2019entente entre le gouvernement mon\u00e9gasque et la fondation \u00ab Medicines\u00a0for Malaria Venture \u00bb (MMV), bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MMV est un partenariat public-priv\u00e9 \u00e0 but non lucratif \u0153uvrant dans le domaine de la\u00a0recherche et de l\u2019\u00e9laboration de m\u00e9dicaments antipaludiques efficaces, faciles \u00e0\u00a0administrer et accessibles. Son objectif est d&rsquo;\u00e9radiquer cette maladie qui cause le d\u00e9c\u00e8s\u00a0de plus de 400 000 personnes par an, pour la grande majorit\u00e9 en Afrique subsaharienne.\u00a0Le projet soutenu par le Gouvernement Princier, au travers de la Direction de la\u00a0Coop\u00e9ration Internationale, a pour objectif le d\u00e9veloppement, en Afrique, d\u2019un\u00a0m\u00e9dicament antipaludique innovant, abordable et adapt\u00e9 aux jeunes enfants ainsi\u00a0qu\u2019aux femmes enceintes.\u00a0La contribution accord\u00e9e par le Gouvernement mon\u00e9gasque s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 350 000 euros sur\u00a0la p\u00e9riode 2016-2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au travers de cet accord, Monaco poursuit son engagement, de longue date, dans la lutte\u00a0contre le paludisme sur le continent africain, avec une attention particuli\u00e8re accord\u00e9e\u00a0aux populations les plus vuln\u00e9rables, en particulier les femmes et les enfants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"S.E.
